Mr DIY, Malaysia’s largest hardware retailer, aimed to strengthen the brand connection with its audience by launching the “PANDAi Jaga Anda” campaign, featuring its new mascot, PANDAi. Alongside the 3D Billboard, we developed an engaging Fake-Out-Of-Home (FOOH) video to further bring PANDAi’s personality to life and extend the campaign’s reach.
The objective of the FOOH campaign was to reinforce Mr DIY’s message that “PANDAi is always there to help” by creating a playful and relatable narrative for social media. This complemented the 3D Billboard and further introduced PANDAi as a reliable, lovable mascot.
The key message revolved around how Mr DIY, represented by PANDAi, offers practical solutions for every situation, blending reliability with a touch of humor and charm.
The FOOH video expanded on the 3D Billboard narrative by placing PANDAi in a real-world environment to connect with audiences in an engaging and relatable way. • Core Goal: Establish PANDAi as a helpful, ever-present character while demonstrating Mr DIY’s customer-first values.
